Poor

Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information. The student does not display the title or author.
Fair

Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around. Student displays the title or author.
Good

Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.Student displays the title and author.
Excellent

Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. Student distinctively displays the title and author.
Subject Knowledge

Poor

Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about the book.
Fair

Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary (vague) questions.
Good

Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent

Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Graphics

Poor

Student uses superfluous, graphics or no graphics.
Fair

Student occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation. No pictures are displayed.
Good

Student's graphics relate to text and presentation.Required amount of pictures are not displayed.
Excellent

Student's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation. Minimum of 5 pictures that apply to the story sequence.
Mechanics

Poor

Student's presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors. Presentation has no required format.
Fair

Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Cannot determine if there is a pattern of the format.
Good

Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Some form of the format is followed.
Excellent

Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors. Correct format is followed.
Presentation

Poor

Student is dependent on notes. Student hesitates and gives unclear answers.
Fair

Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.
Good

Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
