Content & Development	Poor - Content is incomplete. - Questions are not answered.	Good - Content is not comprehensive and /or persuasive. - Major points are made, but not well supported.	Excellent - Content is comprehensive. Questions are addressed and answers are stated clearly and well supported. - Content and purpose of the writing are clear.
Organization & Structure	Poor - Organization and structure destracts from the ideas made byt he writer - Paragraphs are disjointed and lack transition of thoughts. - Paper reads very choppy and does not flow	Good - Structure of the paragraphs is not easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions need improvement. - Has some transitions, but could use more refinement	Excellent - Structure of the paragraphs is clear and easy to follow. - Ideas flow from one concept to another after ideas are fully expored - Paper is interesting
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling	Poor - Paper contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. - Language uses jargon or slang.	Good - Paper contains few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. - Language lacks clarity or includes the use of some jargon or slang.	Excellent - Rules of grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct. - Language is clear and precise; sentences display consistently strong, varied structure.
Format	Poor - Paper lacks many elements of correct formattting, excludes introduction, body of paper, and/or conclusion. -3 page requirement is either inadequate or excessive in length.	Good - Paper follows most guidelines. - One page is not always used for each question - Paper follows basic structural guidelines od intro, body, and conclusion - 3 page requirement is met.	Excellent - Paper follows designated guidelines. - 1 question per page is completed - Paper is 3 pages long
