LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT IN CLASS	EXCELLENT Student actively participates in class by asking questions, and participating in discussions more than once per class.	GOOD Student actively participates in class by asking questions, and participating in discussions once per class.	FAIR Student rarely participates in class by asking questions, and participating in discussions.	POOR Student never articipates in class by asking questions, and participating in discussions.
LISTENING SKILLS	EXCELLENT student listens when others talk both in groups or in class. Student builds off others ideas during discussions.	GOOD student listens when others talk both in groups or in class.	FAIR student does not listen when others talk both in groups or in class.	POOR student does not listen when others talk both in groups or in class. Student frequently interrupts when others are talking.
BEHAVIOR	EXCELLENT Student almost never displays disruptive behavior during class.	GOOD Student occasionally displays disruptive behavior during class.	FAIR Student frequently displays disruptive behavior during class.	POOR Student almost always displays disruptive behavior during class.
PREPERATION/following directions	EXCELLENT Student is almost always prepared for class with assignments and required materials. *Has followed directions quickly and has all supplies ready to go after being told ONCE.
