Write/Perform a Rap Song Write/Perform a Rap Song The students will write a rap based on a topic of their choosing. Their rap will include the common elements of rap songs as determined in class. Recitation
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Voice	Excellent Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time. Can be heard easily by all in audience.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time. Can be heard easily at least 90%of the time.	Fair Speaks clearly some of the time. Can be heard at least 80% of the time.	Poor Mumbles often or cannot be understood Voice is too soft to be heard by all.
Content	Excellent Song/Rap contained great understanding of 3 or more amendments. Rap/song reflected understanding of the amendments.	Good Rap/Song contained clear understanding of at least 3 amendments.	Fair Rap/song contained some understanding of amendments.	Poor Skit contained no clear understanding of any of the amendments.
Lyrics	Excellent The lyrics are meaningful, flow with the melody/rhythm and connect to the meaning of 3 or more amendments.	Good Lyrics are meaningful and connect to at least 3 amendments.	Fair Lyrics are starting to give some details related to 3 amendments.	Poor Lyrics clash with the melody/rhythm and have little relationship to the bill of rights.
