Historical Component	Good All historical information is accurate and the character shows depth, detail and a deep understanding of the portrayed person and his/her societal role.	Fair Historical concepts are accurate and there is evidence of specific outside research that supports the character.	Poor The historical information shows concepts students knew without any research.
Role playing	Good Student stays in character the entire time and communicates effectively.	Fair Student attempts to stay in character, but drops in and out often.	Poor Student is in character briefly and sporadically.
Props and Costumes	Good The student's props and costumes accurately fit the historical period and show considerable creativity making the presentation more effective.	Fair The student's costume and props are a work in progress. They show some historical accuracy, but could be improved.	Poor The student's costume and props are tossed together with little regard for authenticity.
