Compare/Contrast Writing: Artistic Styles 
The purpose of this rubric is to allow students to know what the expectations are for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. The student will compare and contrast the two artists we have studied this semester: Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso. Students will write four paragraphs: introductory, a differences paragraph, a similarities paragraph, and a conclusion paragraph. ELA format (block organization style in four).
