Set Design 2-D 3-D Model 
Students read a given script to gather information about the set demands. Using this information, students design and create a 2D-3D model based on the concept of a pop-up book.

Backdrop and Flooring

The backdrop and flooring procedures have been followed and executed fully and neatly.

Unacceptable

Scale and grid technique has not been followed. Model incomplete.
Not Yet Meets Expectations

Scale is off on backdrop. Model is completed messily. It appears as though the student ran out of time to complete the assignment. Assignment was handed in well after the due date.
Minimally Meets Expectations

Scale is slightly off backdrop. Model is completed somewhat neatly. It appears as though the student rushed to complete the assignment.
Fully Meets Expectations

Relative scale is correct and drawing has been neatly transferred to backdrop. Model is created neatly. It appears as though student spent a good deal of time completing the assignment on time.
Exceeds Expectations

All pieces are created using a mathematically correct scale. Model is created neatly with great attention to detail. It appears as though student spent an exceptional amount of time getting the assignment "just right".
