Medical Terminology Chapter 12 and 13 Paper Writing You will write a paper using 50 of the Medical Terminology words from chapter 12 and 13. When you are using the words you must also include in parentheses after the word the definition or break it down into word parts. You may use more than 50 words, but less than 50 words will result in a decrease in points. See Rubric for additional information. Your paper must make sense. Organization & Structure	Poor - Organization and structure detract from the message of the writer. - Paragraphs are disjointed and lack transition of thoughts.	Fair - Structure of the paper is not easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions need improvement.	Good - Structure of the paper is clear and easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions are present and logical and maintain the flow of thought throughout the paper.
Format	Poor - Paper lacks many elements of correct formatting. (Missing more than 2 components) - Paper is inadequate in length.	Fair - Paper follows most guidelines. (Missing one or two components) - Paper is under word length.	Good - Paper follows designated guidelines. (One page or 400, double spaced, 12 point font, and labeled in corner appropriately) - Paper is the appropriate length as described for the assignment.
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling	Poor - Paper contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. - Language uses jargon or conversational tone.	Fair - Paper contains few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. - Language lacks clarity or includes the use of some jargon or conversational tone.	Good - Rules of grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct. - Language is clear and precise; sentences display consistently strong, varied structure.
