Habits and Behaviors Conducive to Increasing Achievement The following rubric will be used to evaluate your in class work. Expectations include: preparation requirements, participation/collaboration, work completion, and time management. NOTE: One class period discussion or activity points reduced to 1.5, 1.0, and .5 for each category respectively.

Approaching Expectations

Asks occasional questions, listens to answers, sometimes shares ideas and strategies with peers, listens to others respectfully.Engages in discussions with some prompting to participate.
Below Expectations

Rarely asks questions or listens to answers. Waits for others to give solutions. Does not pay attention and/or listen to others respectfully. Does not engage in discussions even with prompting.

Meets Expectations

Completed all parts of the activity within time given. Work shows thought and attentiveness to instructions.

Completed most of the activity within time given. Work shows thought and attentiveness to most of the instructions.

Was on-task all or most of the time and did not distract other students.

Was on-task most of the time and occasionally distracted others.
