Wire Stripping

Student has wire exposed under 1/2", wire is not twisted neatly, cable jacket may have more than 2 cuts.
Level 2 (60 - 69%)

Student has wire stripped under 1 inch, copper wire is not twisted neatly, paper and filter are exposed. Cable jacket may have 1 cut.
Level 3 (70 - 79%)

Student has wire stripped to 1 inch, copper wire is not twisted neatly, paper and filter are mostly removed.
Level 4 (80% - 100%)

Student has wire stripped to 1 inch, copper wire is twisted and neat, paper and filter removed.
Terminal Connections

Level 1 (50 - 59%)

Student does not have the wire connected to the terminal screws.
Level 2 (60 - 69%)

Student does not have the terminal screws tight, the wire hooks either right or backwards and clamp not closed.
Level 3 (70 - 79%)

Student has the terminal screws tight with the wire hooks going the backward.
Level 4 (80% - 100%)

Student has the terminal screws tight with the wire hooks going the right way. Clamps are closed.
External Clamp Connection

Level 1 (50 - 59%)

Student has no screws on clamps.
Level 2 (60 - 69%)

Student has clamp closed, but the screws and cable are loose.
Level 3 (70 - 79%)

Student has clamp closed and screws tight but cable is is not as tight as it should be in the housing.
Level 4 (80% - 100%)

Student has clamp closed, screws tight and cord snug in housing.
Circuit Testing

Level 1 (50 - 59%)

Student's wiring project will not work and would be a hazard if used.
Level 2 (60 - 69%)

Student's wiring project will not work.
Level 3 (70 - 79%)

Student's wiring project works but has minor problems. (connections are not tight)(wire nuts are not tight)
Level 4 (80% - 100%)

Student's wiring project works without any problems. All connections are tight.
