Math I Support Project Presentation Rubric Rubric for evaluating student presentations. Can be applied to any presentation. Adopted from http://www.ncsu.edu/midlink/rub.pres.html Rubric Code: A37W45 By iteachmath Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Math Type: Project Grade Levels: 9-12

Presentation Rubric
	Poor 11 pts	Fair 14 pts	Good 17 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Organization	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.	Good Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.
Subject Knowledge	Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student did not use any math concepts reviewed this semester.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and uses less than three math concepts reviewed this semester.	Good Student is at ease with , but fails to elaborate. Uses a minimum of three math concepts reviewed this semester.	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) and uses three or more math concepts reviewed this semester.
Visuals	Poor No visuals were used.	Fair Visuals did not support content or presentation.	Good Visuals were related to content or presentation.	Excellent Visuals reinforced content or presentation.
Group Mechanics	Poor One or two members of the group did all of the work. Some refused to participate or were not allowed to assist.	Fair One or two members of the group did not help complete the presentation. Group was covering for lack of team support.	Good Some group members collaborated and presented during the presentation.	Excellent All group members collaborated and equally presented during the presentation.
Elocution	Poor Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.	Fair Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.	Good Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.	Excellent Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
