Bird House- Build a birdhouse using hand tools by following step by step plans.

OBJECTIVE After this project, the student will have designed and built a 3D structural model of residential house. They shall understand the function of structural components that make up a residential house. Students shall be able to analyze how forces are distributed through the structural components of a building. They shall be able to work effectively in a group environment (as a team).

Students will choose a topic related to nutrition and diet therapy and complete an educational brochure for a selected population. For example, a brochure highlighting proper nutrition during lactation for breastfeeding or expectant mothers would be appropriate. Topic must be approved by instructor before beginning. Please see the attached rubric or the instructor for additional help. A total of 30 points (calculated at 20% of your final grade) is possible with this assignment.

Using the waving lotion/gel, all purpose/measuring comb, and mannequin, the student will perform horizontal fingerwaving on the whole mannequin head. The student will perform at least 3-4 rows of fingerwaves according to Milady standard textbook and teacher standards.
