Book Project: Art Activity Do several (10 to 12) pieces of art about the novel. Be sure to include the major themes and characters. These should be accompanied by written pieces explaining them. Content	A Student has completed at least 10 pieces of art that relate to the character and theme of the story.	B Student has completed at least 8 pieces of art that relate to the character and theme of the story.	C Student has completed at least 6 pieces of art that somewhat relate to the character and theme of the story.	D/F Student has created less than 5 pieces of art and do not relate to the character or theme.
Details	A Pictures are very neat and colorful. The student has put a lot of details into the pictures that relates to the book.	B Pictures are somewhat neat and colorful. The student has put a few details into the pictures that relates to the book.	C Pictures lack neatness and contains a lot of white space. Pictures contain some detail from the book.	D/F Pictures are sloppy and contains more white space than color. Pictures lack details from the book.
Explanation	A Students have written a well-organized paragraph, at least 6 or more sentences, explaining what artwork means. No spelling or grammar errors.	B Students have written a semi-organized paragraph, with at least 4 or more sentences, explaining what artwork means. No more than a couple of spelling or grammar errors.	C Students have written a few sentences explaining what artwork means. No more than three spelling or grammar errors.	D/F Students written a sentence explaining the artwork. Several spelling or grammar errors.
