My Imaginary Island

Title Project Title	Excellent Title tells the content of the map, is clearly distinguishable as the title (e.g. larger letters, underlined, etc), on the base of your map.	Good Title tells the purpose/content of the map and is printed at the top of the map.	Fair Title tells the purpose/content of the map, but is not located at the top of the map.	Poor Purpose/content of the map is not clear from the title.
Map Key Compass Rose, Legend, Scale	Excellent Key is easy-to-find and contains a complete set of symbols, including a compass rose with all cardinal directions labeled.	Good Key contains a complete set of symbols, including a compass rose with most cardinal directions labeled.	Fair Key contains an almost complete set of symbols, including a compass rose with one cardinal direction labeled.	Poor Key or cardinal rose is absent or key lacks several symbols or has a compass rose with no cardinal directions.
Labels & Features Cities, towns, bodies of water, mountain ranges, symbols	Excellent All labels/features are extremely neat and can be very easily read.	Good All labels/features are neat and can be read.	Fair Most labels/features are somewhat neat and can be read.	Poor Most labels/features are messy and are hard to read.

Good 90-95% of words on the map and narrative are spelled and capitalized correctly.	Fair 85-90% of words on the map and narrative are spelled and capitalized correctly.	Poor Less than 85% of the words on the map and narrative are spelled and capitalized correctly.
Neatness Map is not cracked or flaking. Has smooth edges.	Excellent All straight lines are ruler-drawn, all errors have been neatly corrected and all features are colored completely.	Good All straight lines are ruler-drawn, most errors have been neatly corrected and most features are colored completely.	Fair Most straight lines are ruler-drawn, some errors have been neatly corrected and some features are colored completely.	Poor Many lines, corrections of errors, and /or features are not neatly done.
