This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the poster board presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your poster have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Presenters
Excellent
Students know information well. They do not stare at the slides and use Index cards to aid presentation.
Good
Students seem to know information well. They stare at the slides at points. They use index cards fairly well but could have more information on them
Fair
Students do not know information as well as they should. They stare at the slides a bit too much. They do not make full use of index cards. They appear confused at points
Poor
Students do not appear to know information. They use the slides too much during the presentation. They did not use index cards at all.
Presentation
Excellent
All slides have images; bulleted information; images are important to understanding the slides. Presentation has an order to it and makes sense.
Good
Most of the slides have images. Most of the information is bulleted. Most of the images support the theme of the slides. The presentation is mostly orderly and makes sense.
Fair
Some of the slides have images. There is a bit too much information on the slides. Some of the images are helpful. Some of the presentation is orderly but it is a bit confusing and at points does not make sense.
Poor
Most slides do not have images. There is too much information on the slides. There are little to no images. The presentation is mostly confusing or disordered.
Classwork
Excellent
Students used class time wisely to work on presentation and wasted no time during class. They were hard at work.
Good
Students used most of class time to work on presentation. They wasted little time during class. They work most of the time diligently.
Fair
Students used some class time to work on presentation but some time was wasted. They worked hard at times but could have devoted more time to completing work.
Poor
Students did not use time wisely; were off task most of the time. Conducted poor research. Poor work ethic.
