I'm An Expert - What is Temperature? Students worked in groups to read an assigned section of their textbook. They wrote a summary of the reading material and generated a poster about the material to teach the class. Summary Content	Poor The summary includes only one topic from the teacher checklist.	Fair The summary includes 2 of the topics on the teacher checklist.	Good The summary includes all of the topics on the teacher checklist.
Written Summary	Poor Poorly written paragraph. More than 3 errors in spelling, punctuation, or grammar.	Fair Good paragraph. Three or fewer errors in spelling, grammar, or punctuation.	Good Well written paragraph. All sentences are capitalized, spelling is correct, punctuation is correct.
Teaching Poster	Poor The poster has only one of the topics from the checklist. More than 2 spelling or grammar errors are on the poster.	Fair The poster has two of the topic on the teacher checklist. Fewer than 2 spelling or grammar errors are on the poster.	Good The poster has all of the topics from the checklist. No spelling or grammar errors are on the poster.
Teaching Material	Poor Did they read the material?	Fair Some members of the group know what they are talking about.	Good The group knows what they are talking about.
