	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Awesome 4 pts
Design	Poor Awkward proportions, no additions to form, not a challenging piece.	Fair Some consideration of proportion and form, simple construction. Minimal additions to form.	Good Good consideration of proportion and form. A good challenge to build. Satisfactory additions to form.	Awesome Ambitious design in scale or difficulty. May have additions to form like feet, handles, raised design, etc.
Building	Poor Little attention to detail. Rough construction weak connection.	Fair Rough construction but still solidly connected. Needs clean up work.	Good Solid construction, some evidence of hand building that could be cleaned up.	Awesome Seamless building. Edges are well joined, sides are smooth and square.
Decoration	Poor Decoration is minimal or non-existent.	Fair Decoration has been greatly simplified. Positioning does not consider the form.	Good Interesting decoration that goes with the form.	Awesome Decoration selected is complex, interesting and appropriate for the form and thoughtful planning is evident.
Glazing	Poor Simple or random color choices, carelessly painted.	Fair Simple design, needs more attention to craft in painting	Good Colors work well with image. Good execution.	Awesome Color choices enhance the image. Complexity and careful craftsmanship in painting
