Egyptian Hieroglyphic Short Story Students write a short story on paper or carving the story into a rock. The story is to written in ancient Egyptian time using pictures and symbols as the alphabet. Variety of symbols & pict	Poor Putting a little effort in writing story. Uses only a few symbols and pictures.	Fair Used more than a few pictures and symbols to create your short story.	Good Took the extra effort to look up Hieroglyphic in Ancient Egypt on the internet. Drew a variety of pictures and symbols that clearly tells your story.
Organization & Neatness	Poor Story is unclear and not easy to read.	Fair Organized with a noticeable degree of effort. Readable with some symbols and pictures unclear and hard to read. The overall is done well with little mistakes.	Good Your story is organized well so anyone could easily follow the pictures and symbols. Pictures and symbols are clearly drawn and the general overall story is easy to read.
Creativity	Poor Very little creativity was used when creating a short story from one of the three topics.
