Book may not be introduced. Some minimal details given about the book. The plot is vaguely summarized. The reader somewhat understands the premise of the book.

Book and author are introduced. Great details about the book. The plot is simple and to the point. The reader understands what the book is about, however, there are still a couple unanswered main questions.

Book and author are introduced. Exceptional Plot review with specific details pulled from the novel. The reader easily understands the premise of the book
Book Analysis (A)

Level 1

Student doesn't analyze the book and provide opinions and reasoning for their answers.
Level 2

Student provides some thought to the analysis, however opinions are not clearly explained or provided.
Level 3

Student provides insight and analysis of the book. They back up their ideas with reasoning which is clearly explained to the reader.
Level 4

Student goes above and beyond the minimum requirements with the analysis of the book, providing ideas and opinions with valid reasoning.
Final Opinions (T)

Level 1

There are no final opinions.
Level 2

Final opinions are brief.
Level 3

Final opinions are present and clear.
Level 4

Detailed final opinions are helpful to the reader in deciding the merit of the novel.
