Presentation Rubric
	Unacceptable 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Very Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Show Research	Unacceptable Incorrect information gathered, lacks ability to pass on information	Good Delivers correct information without creativity and energy - lacks ability to convey with insight	Very Good Delivers Research with energy and creativity. Leaves the class with a clear understanding of the show and in a way the students can apply to performance.	Excellent Delivers Research with insight and energy. Adding all of Column 3 in addition, showing a connection with the work.
Presentation/Performance	Unacceptable Student is having difficulty with projection of presentation, many pauses, appears to lack preparation and interest.	Good Student Needs to work on at least 2 of the following: rate, projection or energy in delivery.	Very Good Emotional connection to presentation/ performance with good pitch and rate, 1 or 2 pauses and/or delays in presentation but looks well rehearsed.	Excellent Delivers and displays presentation and performances with energy and excitement. Well rehearsed with knowledge and understanding of pieces and their importance in the show.
Topics covered	Unacceptable Includes 3 or less of the categories from the Excellent column.	Good Includes 4 of the 6 listed categories from the Excellent column.	Very Good Presentation included 5 or the 6 categories from the Winter Project Presentation.	Excellent Student followed all 6 of the requirements on Musical Theater Presentation Guideline Handout
Group work/solo	Unacceptable Visible struggles on own during presentation and/or with classmates or self during performance.	Good Is able to present while overcoming some struggles. Additionally, if classmates are involved in presentation - not everyone is prepared and getting along in group.	Very Good Student presents performance well and has directed fellow students/group with a sense of team work and leadership energy.	Excellent Student presents all work - group and solo with confidence and understanding. Has directed group or soloist in understanding pieces presented while extending more information regarding pieces presented
