East Meets West 
Objective: Write a friendly letter as Shirley Temple Wong to Fourth Cousin in China, describing the many differences between Shirley’s home in Chungking, China, and Brooklyn, New York. Remember that Fourth Cousin is in China and everything foreign must be carefully described so that she can get a clear picture of what you are telling her. (For example, Fourth Cousin isn't familiar with iceboxes, stickball, or washing machines. Therefore, your descriptions needs to be full of detail.) This letter is going into your writing portfolio. Be sure to do your BEST WORK.
