The stories also retain cultural patterns and words from that specific land of origin for the stories.
Illustrations	Poor Illustrations are poor and do not match the tone of the stories. Illustrations do not show any clues to tell us the land of origin of the stories.	Fair Illustrations are fair and somewhat match the tone of the story. Illustrations show a few clues to help determine land of origins of the stories.	Good Illustrations are of high quality and they match the tone of the story. Illustrations help tell the story and help show the land of origin of the stories.
Literary Style	Poor Literary style is poor with weak vocabulary choices, no chants or repetitive language and no spell woven in its literary style to indicate good storytelling. Collection Quality	Poor Collection of stories chosen is poor with the number and variety chosen not a good representation of the quality of literature needed for good selections. Personal Response	Poor this book of traditional literature was poorly done and not a good representation of quality traditional literature.	Fair This book of traditional literature was fair. It did not maintain the high standard of quality on a consistent basis.	Good I really enjoyed this book of traditional literature and thought it maintained the traditional qualities that encompass quality. It would make a great read aloud.
