FINAL PHOTOGRAPHY FINAL 
The brochure should be over one of four classes, Photojournalism, Commercial Photography, News Paper, or Yearbook. The brochure is to help promote interest in any of the four classes listed above. The use of photography, as well as written communication and the layout are all important to the brochure process.

Photography

POOR

Photographs do not demonstrate use of the principles of composition l framing issues. Choices of subject matter, lighting, locations and perspectives do not reflect final exam work.
FAIR

Elements of composition are weak. Subject matter, lighting, locations and perspectives are bland and unremarkable, resulting in a last-minute appearance.
SATISFACTORY

Some composition elements are used to benefit the message of the photo. Photo explores expression. Subjects, lighting, locations, posing and perspectives show somewhat limited thought.
GOOD

emphasis on the meaning/message of the photo. Expression is emphasized/genuine. Subjects are well chosen. Interesting and creative.
EXCELLENT

Composition is very engaging, interesting and expressive! Extensive thought went into subject and treatment choices. Experimentation led to very creative and imaginative perspectives.
Technical

POOR

Knowledge and understanding of fundamental Technology is limited and shows no growth for the year.
FAIR

Very limited understanding of the technology used in this class. Did not show an understanding of InDesign and PhotoShop.
SATISFACTORY

Student took some care to demonstrate their progress. Some understanding of technical concepts been shown.
GOOD

Strong classroom learning and overall technical competence is evident. Student understood and met the essential goal of establishing their progress in the class.
EXCELLENT

Student recognized task at hand/produced a remarkable/visually poignant body of work. Establishes superior knowledge/understanding of course technology.
Content/Copy

POOR

Written/typed information was not submitted or was far too short.
FAIR

Brochure shows some information needed. It is however limited and may have incorrect information included.
SATISFACTORY

Some care and attention to detail is shown, but authenticity is lacking.
Not all information is used in the best manner.
GOOD

Brochure shows some good insight and meaningful consideration of relevant experience. Good written expression and depth.
EXCELLENT

Content is genuine, insightful, indepth and meaningful. copy shows personal growth through the year. The content has been researched and express meaningful ideas.
