Write a Math Story, Song, or Poem Write a Math Story, Song, or Poem Create a song/story/poem that demonstrates an understanding of linear equations. The writting should include key vocabulary terms discussed when working with linear equations in two variables (y=mx+b). You may either use the idea of how to write a linear equation from given information or how to graph a line from a linear equation. NEATNESS Song/Poem/Story written copy.	Excellent Copy of lyrics is turned in, 0-2 spelling and grammatical errors.	Good Copy of lyrics is turned in with 3-4 spelling and grammatical errors.	Fair Many spelling and grammatical errors present. Marks on the paper.	Poor No paper or incomprehensible paper turned in.
CREATIVE Completeness of the written work: Does it Make Sense?	Excellent Words correctly describe the process completely and thoroughly in a unique manner.	Good Words correctly describe the process completely and thoroughly with a couple of mistakes.	Fair Words are incomprehensible and do not make sense. The words do not describe the assignment.	Poor No creative thinking by the author. Copied paper or copied from another person, book or other written, spoken or taped work.
PROCESS Correct use of the Algebraic Process, Formula or Object.	Excellent The process is named correctly and the description is correct with 0-1 mistakes.	Good The process is correctly named and the description has 2-4 mistakes.	Fair The process is correctly named but an incorrect description is made. The process description has more than 4 errors.
