	Excellent 5 pts	Good 3 pts	Poor 1 pts
Statement Placements	Excellent All statements noting similarities are placed in the center circle and all statements that note differences are placed in the correct outer circle.	Good Most statements are placed in the correct circle, but student mixed up a few statements.	Poor Few statements are placed in the correct circle.
Number of quality statements	Excellent Student is able to make 3 or more comparisons statements in each circle.	Good Student is able to make at least 2 comparison statements in each circle.	Poor Student makes less than 2 comparison statements in each circle.
Neatness	Excellent Handwriting is neat and easily read.	Good Most handwriting is neat and easily read.	Poor Majority of handwriting is not neat or easily read.
Answering Questions	Excellent Student was able to answer all questions correctly.	Good Student missed two questions.	Poor Student missed more than two questions.
