Poetry Assignment
Students will provide samples of their own poetry and compare song lyrics to a poem of their choice. Students must write a one page reflection on why we write and study poetry. Students must look at the figurative meaning of a chosen poem. A title page must reflect a knowledge and understanding of poetry and poetic terms.
