	Level 4 9 pts	Level 3 7 pts	Level 2 6 pts	Level 1 5 pts
Statement Placements	Level 4 All statements noting similarities are placed in the center circle and all statements that note differences are placed in the correct outer circle.	Level 3 Most statements are placed in the correct circle, but student mixed up a few statements.	Level 2 Few statements are placed in the correct circle.	Level 1 No statements are placed in the correct circle.
Number of quality statements	Level 4 Student is able to make five or more statements in each circle.	Level 3 Student is able to make 3-4 statements in each circle.	Level 2 Student makes two or few statements in each circle.	Level 1 Students doesn't make any statements in at least one of the circles.
Statements in own words	Level 4 Statements are put into students own words in a clear and concise manner.	Level 3 Statements are put into students own words in a clear manner.	Level 2 Statements are put into students own words, but sentences are sometimes unclear.	Level 1 Statements are rarely put into students own words and ofen unclear.
