Required Information	Fair Includes 1-2 major components of paper.	Good Includes 3-4 major components of paper.	Excellent Includes all major components of paper: 1) Knowledge from Classroom 2) Interest in Speciality 3) Your feelings of Preparation 4) Your Ideal Position 5) Your Future Plans
Format, Punctuation, and Spelling	Fair Does not use APA format, multiple misspellings, obviously no effort made to edit or revise the paper. Paper is 1 page.	Good Paper is between 1 and 1.75 pages. Uses APA format but not entirely correctly.	Excellent Paper is 2 pages. Very few or no faults with respect to spelling/vocabulary or punctuation. The paper correctly uses APA format.
Organization & Structure	Fair Paper is disjointed and lacks the transition of thought. Organization and structure detract from the content. Obviously no effort made to edit or revise the paper.	Good Structure of the paper is not easy to follow.	Excellent Structure of the paper is clear and easy to follow. Flow of ideas are fluid and logical. Reader can easily understand the writer's present and future in relation to his/her career as a Medical Assistant.
Grammar and Vocabulary	Fair The paper contains numerous grammatical errors. Obviously no effort made to edit or revise the paper.	Good Paper contains few grammatical errors. Vocabulary is somewhat limited.	Excellent Rules of grammar and usage are followed. Language is clear and precise. Writer attempts to vary sentence structure and engage reader.
