Letter will have a greeting and closing using some sort of punctuation. It is not formatted as a business letter but rather as a friendly letter.

Letter will have at least one address and a date as well as a greeting and closing with punctuation.

Letter will have both a heading in the top right corner, an Inside Address, a greeting with a colon, no indentations, single spaced with two spaces between paragraphs and a closure lined up with the heading using a comma. Letter will also have correct spacing.

Letter will be written informally as if writing to a friend. Or unprofessional use of language or slang. Cussing or inappropriate words or comments

Letter will Be professional. Use of abbreviations instead of writing out complete words or sentences. Incomplete sentences or run on sentences used, frequent misspelled words

Professional letter using complete words, sentences, proper punctuation and spelling. Written in a formal yet friendly business letter style.
