Organization	Excellent-L4 Content is well organized. Expressions fit into the topic of your choice.	Good-L3 Presentation is generally logical. Most information on topic is included.	Average_L2 Presentation is somewhat illogical and confusing in places. Information on topic lacking.	Poor_L1 Poorly organized. Incomplete coverage of topic.
Comprehensability	Excellent-L4 Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Correct use of Chinese phrases and expressions.	Good-L3 Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Chinese phrases and expressions.	Average_L2 Reader can understand less than half of what writer is trying to communicate. Incorrect use of Chinese phrases and expressions.	Poor_L1 Incomprehensible throughout. Uses Pinyin throughout.
Vocabulary/Content	Excellent-L4 Writer goes above and beyond, using a wide variety of vocabulary. Correct usage of new or unfamiliar vocabulary.	Good-L3 Write uses a variety of relevant vocabulary.
