Syllable Count	Poor Student can count and identify only one syllable words.	Fair Student can count and identify one and two syllable words.	Good Most of the time student can count and identify two or three syllables words.	Excellent Student can always count and identify multisyllable words.
Labeling the numbers	Poor Student can place only one syllable word per ice cream cone.	Fair Student can place only one and two syllable words per ice cream cone.
