Achieving Minor measurment errors. Plans followed but guidance required.	Excelling Measurements are accurate. Little or no guidance required in following plans.
Planing 15 pts	Beginning Cuts not square, large gaps in Surface.	Developing Some minor errors in cuts. Small visible gaps in surface.	Achieving Cuts accurate. Minor errors in Planing .	Excelling Planing accurate. Joints fit tightly.
Hinches 15 pts	Beginning Little care taken in Fitting of project. Some pieces do not fit correctly. Abundance of bent or sticking up nails.	Developing Minor errors in Fitting. Overall assembly is accurate. Minor evidence of glue. <BR> A few bent and visible nails. Screws or nails are not driven flush.	Achieving No visible errors in Fitting. No visible glue. A few visible unbent nails. Nails are flush but not hidden. Screws are counter sunk but not hidden.	Excelling No visible errors in Fitting. A very high quality product. Sanding 15 pts	Beginning Large scratches in wood surface. Sanding across grain is obvious. Not sanded to the proper grit paper.	Developing Some scratches are visible. Some cross grain sanding may be visible.	Achieving Smooth finish with no visible scratches. Some cross grain sanding may be visible.	Excelling Smooth finish with no visible scratches.
Mortice Lock/Handles 15 pts	Beginning incomplete. Finish does not cover all of the wood or has visible opening .	Developing Not consistent throughout the project. Finish has minor imperfections ( opening ).	Achieving Finish is even with only the smallest of imperfections noticeable.	Excelling Finish is even with no noticable imperfections / Gaps.
