Slate	Advanced Appears friendly, comfortable, and spirited.	Proficient Shows some confidence in introduction, while attempting eye contact.	Intermediate Seems a bit nervous but holds it together enough to show some confidence.	Beginning Too nervous to show personality and forgets some basic information.
Audition: Vocal Quality	Advanced Actor uses excellent variety in quality and inflection to convey the character's meaning.	Proficient Actor's variety is spotted.	Intermediate Actor is not using full range of voice.	Beginning Actor's voice is lacking in quality to display character.
Audition: Body/Face	Advanced Actor displays excellent use of posture and facial expressions to bring to life the character. Great energy and stage presence.	Proficient Actor is using face and body on stage to show the character.	Intermediate Actor needs more energy. Some nervous gestures are showing.	Beginning Actor is showing nervous gestures which are distracting from the character.
Focus	Advanced Actor displayed excellent focus and remained in character throughout the piece.	Proficient Stayed focused and in character for most of the audition.	Intermediate Lost focus and broke character occasionally.	Beginning Lost focus and broke character frequently.
Knowledge of Audition Piece	Advanced Actor was completely familiar with the audition piece.	Proficient Actor was mostly familiar with the piece but sometimes didn't come through seamlessly.	Intermediate Actor was slightly familiar with the piece.	Beginning Actor was unfamiliar with the audition piece and the performance suffered for it.
Monologue selection	Advanced Great audition piece!	Proficient Good audition piece.	Intermediate Audition piece was okay but could use some adjustment/editing.	Beginning Didn't choose an appropriate audition piece.
Reflection	Advanced Actor displays thoughtfulness and composure in their reflection.	Proficient Actor displays thoughtfulness in their reflection, but ideas "wandered" a bit.	Intermediate Actor displays basic knowledge in the reflection.	Beginning Actor's reflection was difficult to follow/does not relate to assignment.
Attention to Directions	Advanced Actor follows all guidelines and requests for the audition submission.	Proficient Actor follows most guidelines for the audition submission.
