Group Choreography Assignment #1 Line Dance Group Choreography Assignment Instructor assess group efforts in producing group choreography as an assignment in which all members contributed to producing choreography for the task at hand. Choreography Movements were not just strung together...there was a thoughtful purpose for each phrase of movements.	Excellent 4 Group accomplished the task extremely well. The movements worked well together and fit the counts	Good 3 Group accomplished task well and related the movements fit the counts.	Fair 2 Group somewhat accomplished task but movements are unclear and do not always fit the counts.	Poor 1 Group did not finish assignment and movements have no relation to song.
Movement Knowledge Concentrate on transitions, andsequencing	Excellent 4 Dancers know the movements extremely well. Confident and don't need to follow anyone else. Dancers have a great sense of timing & direction. DANCE is clean and well rehearsed. Transitions are natural and seamless.	Good 3 Dancers know the movements well. They stay together, and have a good sense of timing & direction. 2-3 mistakes made. Transitions are good.	Fair 2 Dancers somewhat knew movements. Have an ok sense of timing & direction. Made 4-5 mistakes. Transitions are ok.	Poor 1 Dancers are unprepared and unsure of the choreography. There is no sense of timing or direction. Made lots of mistakes. transitions are very weak.
Teamwork	Excellent 4 Strong evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.	Good 3 Good evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.	Fair 2 Dancers show some evidence for working as a team. Not all students represented or participating.	Poor 1 Dancers did not act as team. Not all students participating. Clear division among members.
Written Choreography Sheet	Excellent 4 Sheet was neat and clear. It followed the format provided by the teacher. Movements were clearly described and easy to reproduce.	Good 3 Sheet was somewhat neat, followed the format provided by the teacher. Movements were described well.	Fair 2 Sheet was legible and followed the format provided by the teacher. Movements were described but not entirely clear	Poor 1 Sheet was not completed or illegible. Format was not followed and movements were not described.
