Content and/or images do not apply to the overall project and is presented in a manner which the audience cannot follow. The commercial's message is basically lost or vaguely recognizable.
Fair
Content and images lack relevance and tends to jump around making it very difficult to follow. At some points the commercial's message is evident, but at other times...the message is not understandable.
Good
Most content and images are relevant and presented in a logical order which makes it easily understandable. The commercial's message is mostly clear to the audience.
Excellent
All content and images are relevant and presented in a logical order which makes it easily understandable. The commercial's message is VERY CLEAR to the audience.
Class time
Poor
Student does not use class time whatsoever. He or she also distracts peers in his or her general area making it difficult for them to work as well.
Fair
Student spends a great deal of class wasting time. He or she does not stay on task and requires constant prompting from the teacher.
Good
Student stays on task for the most part. He or she may need prompting once or twice per period however is able to make some use of his or her time.
Excellent
Student makes excellent use of class time, asks questions and stays on task during the allotted work time.
Use of IMOVIE
Poor
IMOVIE cannot be followed. The project is put together so poorly, the audience cannot understand what the creator was trying to convey. The movie used the time allotted for this project wisely.
Fair
IMOVIE is not used very well. Transitions and editing make the video very hard to understand or follow. The movie is within the correct time limits.
Good
IMOVIE is used correctly. Students are able to create a basic production. The audience is able to follow along and understand the movie with little trouble. The movie is within the correct time limits.
Excellent
IMOVIE is used correctly and effectively. Students are able to clip video and use proper effects so as to not take away from the information conveyed. The movie used the time allotted for this project wisely.
Sound and Presentation

Sound and presentation of cinematography was not clear.
Fair
Sound and presentation of cinematography is clear for half the movie. There were some use of transitions
Good
Sound and presentation of cinematography is clear for more than half the movie. There were good use of transitions.
Excellent
Sound and presentation of cinematography is clear for the entire movie. There were unique transitions that made the movie exciting.
Filming

Poor quality - segments are shaky and sometime difficult to see.

Average quality - most segments are in focus, but some of the clips do not apply to the subject being presented.

Good quality - all segments are in focus, and most clips apply to the subject being presented.

Excellent quality - all segments are in focus, and all of the clips apply to the subject being presented.
