The writing contains 4-7 errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar-- but the errors do NOT interfere with the story.

The writing contained 8-12 errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The errors may effect the story's meaning or message. Errors make the story difficult to understand-

The writing contained more than 12 errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The errors interfere with the story.
