Use of Class Time	Excellent Made the most of class time. Focused on working and did not engage others in conversation.	Good Made good use of class time. Usually focused on getting the project done; occasionally distracting others.	Satisfactory Student was able to accomplish the project but lagged behind most of the class. There was some focus on getting the project done but often distracted others.	Unsatisfactory Spent too much time talking and was not able to finish project during the allotted class times.
Cubist Design Simplify the landscape into shapes and planes, creating tension and multiple perspectives .	Excellent Created a successful cubist landscape. Clearly simplifying the landscape into different shapes and planes, creating tension and multiple perspectives. .	Good Student was able to create some aspects of cubism in their landscape painting.	Satisfactory Student made few alterations from the original picture. Although it may be a successful landscape it does not show cubism clearly.	Unsatisfactory No attempt was made to employ cubist techniques.
