Format

Composition is written in four parts (SATB) in a key with up to three sharps or flats, includes key signature, time signature, common chord modulation, double bar line at end, and roman numeral analysis below the composition. (figured bass)

Composition

Melody includes a variety of steps and leaps using only notes in the key and proper tonic and dominant placement. Composition uses at least 3 secondary chords. Smooth voice leading is used.
