Favorite Book Favorite Book The student will write a book report (at least one page) on their favorite book. They will need to include the title, author, setting, their favorite and least favorite parts, as well as summarize the plot and talk about the main characters. Good The paper follows somewhat of a logical path. It jumps around a little bit, though.	Fair The paper jumps around a lot and is hard to follow.
Conventions	Excellent Has very few minor errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling, or no errors at all.	Good Has few minor errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling.	Fair Has many errors in grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling.
Title page/Neatness	Excellent The report is written very neatly. Title page shows a detailed effort.	Good The report is written or typed with some messiness. Title page is complete at a satisfactory level.	Fair The report is poorly written or typed. Title page is messy or hardly done
