Memoir: Lesson Learned 
Students will narrate a personal memoir. The memoir should focus on the relationship of a person/place/thing and/or relate an event that had a substantial impact on the author. The memoir must include effective use of dialogue, sensory language, and a compelling lead paragraph and a memorable concluding paragraph. The lesson learned should be clear to the reader, though it need not be stated directly; use events and characters to illustrate your points.
