Measurement 5 pts	Beginning Little attention to accurate measurements is apparent.	Developing Several measurement errors are visible.	Achieving Minor measurement errors can be found.	Excelling Measurements are accurate.
Cuts / Joints 5 pts	Beginning Cuts are not square, there are large gaps in most of the joints.	Developing Some minor errors in cuts are seen. Several small gaps are visible in the joints.	Achieving Cuts are accurate with only minimal spaces or misalignments of the joinery.	Excelling Cuts are very accurate with all joints fitting tightly.
Assembly 5 pts	Beginning Little care has been taken in the assembly of the project.	Developing Some errors in assembly are visible.	Achieving Minor errors in the project assembly are visible.	Excelling No visible errors in assembly.
Sanding 5 pts	Beginning Little to no surface sanding is evident.	Developing Some scratches are visible. Some cross grain sanding may be visible.	Achieving Smooth finish with no visible scratches.	Excelling Very smooth finish with no visible scratches.

Excelling The project has been built to a very detailed standard. The effort and craftsmanship put forth was of the highest quality.
