Sit-in/ Partake in Counseling Session 
Students must sit-in or partake in a counseling session of desired choice at the Universities Counseling and Career Development Center. Student must also write a brief summary detailing the situation: reason why you sought therapy, what you felt during the session, and so forth

Fair (C)

Paper is less than the required page length, moderate APA formatting errors are found. Reference page, and title page are attached with moderate errors in formatting. Moderate errors are found in grammar and writing skills. Student generally struggles to properly structure the paper in a way that allows for consistent flow of thought.
Poor/Incomplete (D/F)

Paper is less than the required page length, significant errors in APA formatting. Reference page, and/or title page are missing or have significant formatting errors. Writing mechanics, word usage, grammar and spelling contain many errors that do effect the paper's content.
Conclusion (50pts)

Explores one's own thoughts and ideas regarding the topic, and summarizes paper appropriately

Excellent (A)

Conclusion effectively wraps up and goes beyond restating the content of the paper. Conclusion is clear and concise. Student reflects the major theme/topic and provides the significance of the topic in relation to this field of Psychology.
Good (B)

Student effectively summarizes the content of the paper in a clear and concise way. Student reflects the major theme/topic and provides the significance of the topic in relation to this field of Psychology.
Fair (C)

Conclusion is recognizable and ties up almost all loose ends. Student mentions some topics that are associated with the article, and loosely relates the topic to this field of Psychology.
Poor/Incomplete (D/F)

Conclusion does not summarize main points. Conclusion is vague or unclear, and no connection is made between the topic and the field of Psychology.
