Animation Skills&Design Principles 30 % Design Principles include color, line, shape, texture, and form.	Excellent Student demonstrated knowledge of key frame animation, effects creation, and motion refinement throughout the project. Elements of many design principles are also shown in the project.	Good Student demonstrated some knowledge of key frame animation, effects creation, and motion refinement throughout the project. Some design principles are shown in the project.	Fair Student demonstrated very little working knowledge of key frame animation, effects creation, and motion refinement. Very limited and weak design principles might be apparent.	Poor Student did not demonstrate any of the taught principles.
Creativity 25 %	Excellent Project shows a large amount of original thought. Ideas are creative, inventive, designed well and are very creative.	Good Project shows some original thought and creativity. Work shows new ideas and insights.	Fair Some creativity is shown but several elements still seem stale and unimaginative.	Poor Uses very little imagination and creativity.
Software Knowledge 15 %	Excellent Student showed vast working knowledge of After Effects, Maya, and Photoshop. They went above and beyond to push their knowledge further than what was discussed in class	Good Student showed vast working knowledge of After Effects, Maya, and Photoshop.	Fair Student showed some knowledge of the softwares used.	Poor Student showed little to no working knowledge of the softwares used.
Project Requirements 15 %	Excellent All requirements are met and exceeded.	Good All requirements are met.	Fair One requirement was not completely met.	Poor No requirements were met.
Group Participation 15 %	Excellent The student took a leadership role in the project's creation by collecting material, encouraging the work of others, and positively influencing the final project.	Good The student played an important role in the project's creation by helping to create material and actively participating in the project's structure and content.	Fair The student's documented contribution to the project is minimal either in terms of material created or in developing the project itself.	Poor The student did not participate in the group work at all. The other group members scored this student very low on their own group evaluation sheets.
