Symbol	Excellent Main Symbol is neatly constructed and creative.	Good Main symbol is somewhat neatly constructed.	Fair Main symbol is present and a little difficult to understand.	Poor Main symbol is attempted but difficult to understand.
Sketch Description	Excellent Sketch is labeled and fully described, very easy to follow and understand.	Good The sketch is labeled and described, but details are left out	Fair The sketch is labeled or described, but not both.	Poor Sketch or description is present but not both.
Math Operations: Work with Fraction	Excellent Numbers and operations are clearly shown, correct and logical.	Good Numbers and operations are clearly shown and most are correct with some order shown.	Fair Numbers and operations are shown to have been attempted but out of order	Poor Numbers and operations are not clearly shown or present or correct
Written Explanation	Excellent Explanation is very detailed and clear along with use of correct vocabulary.	Good Explanation is understandable with use of vocabulary.	Fair Explanation is a little difficult to understand, but includes critical components. Little to no vocabulary used.	Poor Explanation is difficult to understand and is missing valuable information and vocabulary.
Presentation	Excellent Project is easily read, math is correct as is spelling and organization. Student easily explains project without reading a script and answers questions easily.	Good Most of project can be read, spelling is correct, numbers are correct, organization is mostly logical. Student can explain project, reads some of it but can answer questions easily.	Fair Some of the project could be read, spelling and organization are confusing, but all numbers are correct. Student stumbles over words and has problems explaining project.	Poor Could not read project, words not spelled correctly, numbers mixed up and project not organized. Student can't read or explain own project.
