Use of rhythm. Students were asked to create an art piece that included the Principles of Design Rhythm and Movement. The visual movement of elements--colors, shapes, lines, values, forms, spaces, textures. Including Regular, Irregular, Staccato, and Progressive Rhythms. There also is evidence of Movement in the work. The viewer's eye is guided through the art. The students designed the artwork using the assigned over-arching theme.
Students must design a tool that they will use to create rhythm and movement. The design must also be used to express a specific principles of motion.
