Latin Roots Poster
Students will create a poster focusing on one of the Latin Root words discussed in class. If a student chooses they may use a Latin Root found during their independent research but it must be approved by the teacher. The poster must clearly display the Latin Root and AT LEAST FIVE English words based off that root. (Note: Not all words that contain Latin Root were derived from Latin. Make sure you research the history of each word displayed! Dictionaries are your allies!) Students may use any program or supplies they choose to complete this assignment. The information must be neatly and clearly displayed.
