Breed Presentation Students will research one breed of livestock (any species of their choosing) and give a 5 minute presentation over the breed. Students will use any form of visual aid they need. 	Excellent 5 pts	Good 4 pts	Fair 2.5 pts	Poor 1 pts
Content	Excellent There is evidence has researched the breed and has the content as listed in the handout 100%.	Good There is evidence that the breed has been researched and the contend as listed in the handout is at at least 90%.	Fair There is some evidence the breed has been rearched and the content as listed in the handout is at at least 75%.	Poor There is no evidence that the breed has been researched and the conent as listed is at atleast 50%.
Speaks Clearly	Excellent Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) the time, and mispronounces no words.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) the time, but mispronounces one word.	Fair Speaks clearly and distinctly most ( 94-85%) of the time. Mispronounces no more than one word.	Poor Often mumbles or can not be understood OR mispronounces more than one word.
Enthusiasm	Excellent Facial expressions and body language generate a strong interest and enthusiasm about the topic in others.	Good Facial expressions and body language sometimes generate a strong interest and enthusiasm about the topic in others.	Fair Facial expressions and body language are used to try to generate enthusiasm, but seem somewhat faked.	Poor Very little use of facial expressions or body language. Did not generate much interest in topic being presented.
Preparedness	Excellent Student is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed.	Good Student seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals.	Fair The student is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Poor Student does not seem at all prepared to present.
Comprehension	Excellent Student is able to accurately answer almost all questions posed by classmates about the topic.	Good Student is able to accurately answer most questions posed by classmates about the topic.	Fair Student is able to accurately answer a few questions posed by classmates about the topic.	Poor Student is unable to accurately answer questions posed by classmates about the topic.
Respect for Others	Excellent Listens intently. Does not make distracting noises or movements.	Good Listens intently but has one distracting noise or movement.	Fair Sometimes does not appear to be listening but is not distracting.	Poor Sometimes does not appear to be listening and has distracting noises or movements.
