German 2/3 Poster Project
German 1 Poster Project
Students will be required to work in groups of 3-4 students and design a poster board that explores German in some way. The categories that are available to students will be the following: Famous German speaking people - Martin Luther, Einstein, Hitler, etc. Geographical Regions - German speaking countries, regions, town, or cities Culture - German music artists, traditional German music or dance, food, fashion, German cars, typical German pastimes etc. Other - Have a idea not covered by one of the above categories? Gain approval from me and create your own topic!

Posters in this category have exceptional organization. There are at least four aspects of the topic thoroughly discussed. Writing is fluid and interests the reader.

Relevance to Germany or another German speaking country is undeniable. All of the pictures have a German caption and all of the titles are in German. There are one to two sentences in German per section. Additionally each section includes German vocabulary in the text.

Posters in this category lack any noticeable design.
Poor
Posters in this category have a limited design. The poster may still be almost completely white. Text is likely hand-written and sloppy.
Fair
A basic design is evident. There is use of color although it may be somewhat limited. Text is neatly written or typed and sloppily glued or taped to the poster.

Appropriate use of color and all text is very neatly written or typed. Posters in this category are appealing to the eye and lack sloppiness.
Excellent
Excellent design. Exhibits clear signs of effort and likely has an usual/innovative touch. All text is neat (likely typed) and neatly arranged on poster. Color is appropriate and enhances topic and interest.
