Lines and circle	Unsatisfactory Student created lines which did not correctly go through the circle.	Basic Student created lines and a circle with few inaccuracies.	Distinguished Student created an interesting pattern of lines which go through the circle correctly.
Color	Unsatisfactory Student showed little understanding of how to create the illusion of depth.	Basic Student made a good attempt to create the illusion of depth with color.	Distinguished Student enhanced the illusion of depth with a gradation of colors.
Skill/Technique	Unsatisfactory Student work was messy.	Basic Student work was done fairly neatly and carefully.	Distinguished Student worked neatly and carefully.
Time/Effort	Unsatisfactory Class time was not used wisely. Little time and effort went into planning and implementation of the project.	Basic Class time was almost always used wisely. Some time and effort went into planning and implementation of the project.	Distinguished Class time was used wisely. Much time and effort went into planning and implementation of the project.
Clean up	Unsatisfactory Student did not clean up supplies appropriately and/or on time each period. Student did not display appropriate behavior.	Basic Student cleaned up most supplies appropriately, and usually right away, each period or student may have had a behavior infraction.	Distinguished Student cleaned up all supplies appropriately and on time each period. Student had no behavior infractions during this time.
