Telling Time 
Students work in different activities that involve time clocks. Placing the numbers on the clock, positioning the hands of the clock and telling time to the hour and to the half hour.

Student Identifies The Numbers

Poor

Student cannot identify the numbers accurately on a time clock. Student is unable to complete time clock worksheet at all.
Fair

Student can identify the numbers on a time clock with some accuracy, but still needs help. Can fill in some numbers on time clock worksheet but not all.
Good

Student can accurately identify the numbers on a time clock. Can fill in all numbers on time clock worksheet.
Placing The Hands of The Clock.

Poor

Student cannot place the hands of the clock correctly corresponding with the times asked to do.
Fair

Student can place the hands of the clock correctly corresponding with the times asked some of the time, but unable to do so every time.
Good

Student places the hands of the clock correctly corresponding with the times asked to do all of the time.
Writing out the time

Poor

Student cannot write out the time correctly when shown a time on the clock
Fair

Student can write out the time when shown time on a clock occasionally.
Good

Student can write out the time when shown a time on a clock all the time.
Telling Time

Poor

Student cannot tell time to the hour and to the half hour at all when asked. Student does not complete any of the time worksheet where they are asked to write the time.
Fair

Student can somewhat tell time to the hour and to the half, but not everytime they are asked. Student can write time on time worksheet, but only completes part of it.
Good

Student can accurately tell time to the hour and to the half everytime that they are asked. Student can accurately write time on time worksheet.
Participation and Time Management

Poor

Student does not participate during lesson, does not raise hand to answer/ask questions. Student seems to not pay attention at all during lesson and does not work on assignments during given class time.
Fair

Student somewhat participates during lesson. Does seem to be paying attention but does not raise hand much. Student does work on, but doesn't complete, assignments during given class time.
Good

Student actively participates during lesson. Student pays attention, raises hands, and asks/answers questions. Student completes assignment during given class time.
